Clair Obscur Expedition 33: How To Get the Blue Mushrooms

Step 1: Locating Karatom Gestral

Your journey begins in Gestral Village. From there, you'll need to make your way to the Sakapatate area to find Karatom:
  • Start at the Entrance Expedition Flag: From the main entrance of Gestral Village, orient yourself towards the Entrance Expedition Flag.
  • Take a Left: From the flag, take a left path.
  • Enter the Gestral Bazaar: This path will lead you into the bustling Gestral Bazaar.
  • Proceed Straight: Walk straight through the entirety of the bazaar.
  • Arrive at Sakapatate: Exiting the bazaar, you'll find yourself in the Sakapatate area.
  • Find Karatom: Karatom will be waiting for you at the base of the Sakapatate.
  • Interact: Walk up to Karatom and press the interaction button.
  • Receive the Quest: During your conversation, Karatom will ask you to find the Blue Mushrooms for him.

    • Step 2: Unlocking Esquie’s Nest

    To actually find the Blue Mushrooms, you'll need to gain access to a new area called Esquie’s Nest. This requires a bit of arena prowess:

  • Talk to the Village Chief, Golgra: Your next step is to speak with the village chief, Golgra. You'll likely find him within Gestral Village.
  • Join the Gestral Arena Tournament: After speaking with Golgra, you'll need to participate in the Gestral Arena tournament.
  • Battle the Legendary Warriors and the Stranger: In the arena, you will face challenging battles against the three Legendary Warriors and a character known as the Stranger. (The guide you mentioned suggests referring to a "Golgra Boss Guide"for winning these fights, which implies Golgra might be one of theseopponents or involved in the tournament's culmination.)

  • Jump Right and Move Forward: After exiting the cave, jump to your right and then continue moving forward.
  • Encounter the Mime Enemy: You will encounter a Mime enemy. Simply go past it.
  • Take a Left into the Water: After passing the Mime, take a left turn and enter the water.
  • Locate the Blue Mushroom: In the water, you will finally spot the Blue Mushroom. Pick it up.

    • Step 4: Returning to Karatom

    With the Blue Mushroom in your possession, your final task is to return to Karatom:

  • Return to Gestral Village: Make your way back to Gestral Village.
  • Find Karatom in Sakapatate: Head back to the Sakapatate area where you initially found Karatom.
  • Give Him the Mushroom: Interact with Karatom again and give him the Blue Mushroom.

    • The Second Part of the Quest

    Completing this step will trigger the second part of Karatom's quest, whichinvolves a battle between Gustave and the Ultimate Sakapatate.
