Phase 1: The Observatory Dome Code Solution

This puzzle is entirely reliant on listening carefully to an in-game audio cue provided by the map's elite enemy, O.S.C.A.R. This step should be attempted after you have activated the Pack-a-Punch machine and successfully acquired the LGM-1 Wonder Weapon.

• Preparation: It is highly recommended that you clear all but one or two zombies before starting this step. You must also ensure that subtitles are enabled in your game settings, as the audio cue can be easily missed amidst the chaos.
• The Pursuit: You must actively follow O.S.C.A.R. around the map, being careful not to provoke or attack him.
• The Trigger: Listen for the specific audio phrase: "Targeting Doctor Thurston." This cue signals the enemy is about to transmit a crucial recording.

2. Decrypting the Planetary Code

Following the initial phrase, O.S.C.A.R. will play a recording of Dr. Thurstonverbally listing three specific planets. These three planets form athree-digit code, derived by assigning a numerical value to each planetbased on its distance from the sun.

• Note the Digits: Once the telescope is locked onto Mars, look at the bottom left of the screen. You must record the four-digit number displayed in the coordinates section. This code is randomized every game, so accurate note-taking is required (e.g., $4223$).

2. Preparing the Brain

Before you can use this code, you must first secure the critical component for the next step: Dr. Thurston's brain.

• Acquire the Saw: Travel to The Museum Infinitum and pick up a Rock Saw located in the southwest corner.
• Extract the Brain: Head to the Machina Astralis area, specifically the room just before the exit to the Speed Cola perk machine. Use the Rock Saw to open the Cryo Pod. Interact with the corpse inside to obtain Thurston's Brain.
• Perfusion Machine Defense: Take the brain to The Luminarium and locate the Perfusion Machine on the eastern side. Replace the existing brain, then interact with the machine again to trigger the defense phase. Successfully defend themachine for the entire lockdown duration.
• Retrieve the Brain: Interact with the Perfusion Machine a third time to retrieve the processed brain. Crucially, the player carrying the brain component will be unable to sprint.
