Unlocking the QBZ-192 and SG 553R Carbines
The Danger Close challenges are your specific path to unlocking the high-performing QBZ-192 and SG 553R Carbines. Remember that these challenges only become available once you reach Rank 23 in the Battlefield 6 multiplayer, and progress is not retroactive for any stats you accumulated before this rank.Danger Close Challenge 1: Unlocking the QBZ-192
The first challenge focuses on fundamental Carbine proficiency in combat.

Strategy for Challenge 1:
The two requirements naturally work together. To deal 10,000 damage, youwill easily earn the 250 kills required, as most Carbine kills willresult in about 100 damage inflicted.
- Focus on ADS: Always ensure you are Aiming Down Sights (ADS) before firing to maximize your progress toward the 250 kills requirement.
- Best Modes: Stick to fast-paced, close-quarters modes like Domination, King of the Hill, or Team Deathmatch to ensure you are constantly in range for Carbine engagements. Avoidlarge-scale Conquest maps where long-range fights are more common.
- Use the First Available Carbine: Utilize the first Carbine available to you while grinding thechallenge. Equip any sight, grip, or attachment that improves controlwhile ADS.
Danger Close Challenge 2: Unlocking the SG 553R
The second challenge introduces a weapon-specific requirement and demands a high degree of precision.

Strategy for Challenge 2:
This challenge is tougher due to the high headshot count.
- Since you just unlocked the QBZ-192, switch to it immediately. This weapon is strong and will make gettingthe 100 kills more efficient than waiting to unlock the M277 (unless you prefer it).
- This is the biggest hurdle. You must focus on consistently aiming for the head.
- Attachments: Equip any attachments that maximize accuracy and control, such as specific muzzle brakes or grips, to help keep the Carbine steady for precision shots.
- Modes: Continue using close-quarters modes. In CQB (Close-Quarters Battle),your crosshair is more likely to be near an enemy's head when you firstengage, increasing your chance of landing the crucial first shot.
- Head Glitch: Take advantage of "head glitch" positions (areas where only your headis visible) to encourage enemies to aim near your head, making it easier for you to land a counter headshot.
Once both requirements are met, the powerful SG 553R Carbine and the Protected Player Card Title will be unlocked for immediate use!
