Where To Find the Painter’s Regret Map Treasure in Avowed
Avowed invites players to explore the Living Lands, offering a rich tapestry of adventures beyond the main storyline. Treasure hunting is a particularly rewarding pursuit, but it requires finding the corresponding maps first. This guide focuses on the Painter's Regret treasure map, detailing its location and the valuable trinket it leads to.
In Avowed, treasure maps can be acquired through various means. Some are available for purchase from merchants, while others are discovered during exploration. The Painter's Regret map, however, can only be found in the world.
The Painter's Regret treasure map is hidden within Emerald Stair, the second major region you'll explore in Avowed. Specifically, it's located in a house on the northeast edge of Coastal Farms. This large house sits nestled against a rock face. Be warned: a group of enemies guards the exterior, requiring you and your party to defeat them before you can proceed.
As with many hidden locations in RPGs, simply walking through the front door isn't an option. In this case, the front door of the house is barred shut. You'll need to find an alternative entrance.
Flanking Maneuver: Circle around the right side of the house. The Back Door Entrance: You'll discover a walkway leading to a back door. This door is unlocked, providing access to the interior. The Painter's Canvas: Once inside, you'll see a large painting displayed on an easel. This is the Painter's Regret treasure map. Interact with it to add it to your inventory.
