Three Key Points of No Return

Avowed has three significant points of no return, tied to these main quests:

Ancient Soul: This is the first point of no return you'll encounter. Completing "Ancient Soul"will cause you to fail any active missions within Fior mes Iverno. Youalso won't be able to start any new quests in that area. It's highlyrecommended to complete all desired activities in Fior mes Iverno before starting "Ancient Soul" (the fifth main quest). You can initially start the quest and then back out if you need to.

Our Dreams Divide Us Still: This is the true point of no return. While you can start this quest (the ninth mainquest) and initially back out, there's a specific point within it wherethe game will warn you with a "Do you wish to proceed?" notification.Once you pass this warning, there's no going back. It's advisable toexplore as much as you want before proceeding past this point. Notethat some content in Galawain's Tusks, like the Starmetal Smithy, maybecome unavailable at this stage. Some side quests might still beaccessible if you've already started them, but new ones might be locked.

The Siege of Paradis:This quest culminates in the final boss fight. Completing it will endthe game. Avowed does not have any post-game free roam, so you'll onlybe able to load a previous save file. Keep this in mind beforeproceeding.
