This time we return with a guide with the objective of explaining Where To Find The Field in Aloft.

Your Aloft journey takes you through an archipelago of floating islands, each with their own resources, secrets and challenges. After exploring many of these islands, collecting materials, discovering ancient knowledge and admiring enigmatic murals, you find yourself with a new task: eliminate the corruption that has plagued some of these lands.

Your first corrupted island introduces you to a new type of enemy: hostile mushrooms. These enemies reside in a large node that you must destroy to purify the island. To do this, you will need to use your combat skills and the resources you have gathered in your exploration.

Where To Find The Field in Aloft


Once you have defeated the enemies and destroyed the node, it is time to study the ecology of the island to fully restore it. This is where the Field Guide comes into play, an invaluable tool for any Aloft player. To create the Field Guide, you will need to gather the following materials:
  • Mykter Fiber: Obtain Mykter Fiber by defeating the multiplied enemies on the corrupted island.
  • Leaf Clothing x2: Gather or craft Leaf Clothing.
  • Paper: Gather or make Paper.
  • Rope:
  • Mykter Fiber x2: Combine two Mykter Fibers to obtain the Rope blueprint.
  • Make Rope: Use the Rope blueprint and more Mykter Fiber to create the Rope.

Elaboration:

  • Open your Inventory: Press the TAB key to access your Inventory.
  • Place the materials: Drag two pieces of Leaf Clothing, a Paper, and a Rope to the slots in the hopper.
  • Learn the plan: Learn the Field Guide plan, unlocking the possibility of creating it.

Restoring the Ecosystem:


With the Field Guide in your possession, return to the corrupted island and prepare to transform it.

  • Equip the Field Guide: Drag the Field Guide to your hotbar and assign a key to equip it.
  • Activate the Field Guide: Press the assigned key to equip and open the Field Guide.
  • Examine the Ecosystem: Press and hold the right mouse button to have the Field Guide analyze the island's ecosystem in detail.
  • Complete the Objectives: The Field Guide will present you with a series of specific objectives for that island, guiding you in restoring its ecological balance. These objectives can vary from island to island, from planting trees and growing flowers to eliminating pests and reviving creatures.

Restoration Rewards:


Your efforts to restore the island will not be in vain. Once you reach 100% restoration, you will witness an impressive transformation:

  • Blooming Ecosystem: The island will come alive, with an explosion of new flora, fauna and fungi.
  • Animals: Animals will appear on some restored islands, such as rabbits, foxes and even deer. You can feed them, pet them and take them to your home island.
  • Island Connection: To transport animals to your home island, you will have to build bridges or land your Skyship on it. Once the animals are on your island, you can place them in a pen for their care.
