How to fish in Ooblets?

The first and foremost thing you will need to know in the game is to know where you can perform the Sea Dangle. There are only specific places that you can, and one of them is on the Badgetown Pier.

Head to the dock and walk to the end to find all the fishing gear lying on the ground. When backed up, you should have the option to left-click or press A to interact with it and go to Sea Dangling.

How to get the bait?

To create the bait, you will need to have Bait and this can be accomplished by anything you are not planning to use and placing it in the Reconstitooter right at the beginning of the dock. One tip we can give you is that the cans that are generated every day around Badgetown will often give you enough to bait per day. You can put any trash you catch from the sea, shells and crops in the Reconstitooter. You need 10 slurry to make 1 bait.

Time to go fishing!

Now that you have your bait, go back to the Sea Dangling location and press A / LMB. You can choose your bait on the next screen and then confirm. As of this moment, you don't really need to do anything. It will automatically capture something after a short scene, though what it captures will vary.

Now that you know how to fish in Ooblets you will be able to get new items from the sea, although this does not mean that you will always get good things, sometimes you will find garbage but do not worry, that is normal. Luck!
