  • Spruce logs for the tree trunk.
  • Fir leaves for the leaves and branches.
  • Colored wool or clay. To obtain these blocks you will need to use colored dyes.
  • Spruce trunks for the tree trunk
  • Obsidian

Final crystal. This is made by placing an Ender Pearl in the center of a crafting table. You will then have to place a Ghast Tear underneath it and glass blocks in the other slots to get a final crystal.

First you will have to build a column of 10 spruce logs near your house > place 8 blocks of red wool on the ground at the base of that column surrounding it. The square that is formed by the Red Wool should have the sides of 3 blocks. Make sure to form a cross or a 5×5 square with no corners.

Then you will need to place the trap doors on each side of the Spruce Logs column of your tree.

Next are the spruce leaves. On the third block from the bottom of the column, you will need to build a 3-leaf wide Cross and at the end of each row of leaves, you will need to place a leaf block on each side, T-shaped at the ends.

At the base of the cross you will need to place the leaf blocks at the corners, to form a square at the end > then you will need to place a spruce leaf block diagonal to that square at each corner.

Place colored blocks in the empty spaces of the leaf base, leaving about one block per corner.

How to make a Christmas tree in Minecraft? - Layer

For the next layer you will need to go one block above the spruce leaf layer and start placing more spruce leaves, following the shape you just made.

For the next layer you will need to go up one more block and make the fir leaf cross 3 blocks long as before. Repeat the T shape, but place it in the middle of both sides of the Spruce Leaf Cross to have more shapes on each side of the cross.

With the next layer, you will need to repeat the same layer and place the Colored Blocks in each empty space on the tree.

How to make a Christmas tree in Minecraft? - Final layers

For the next layer you will need to leave a space one block and place a color block on each side of the Spruce Log column > place a spruce leaf block at the end of each color block and extend it down.

The Color Blocks should have formed a +, connect with Spruce Leaf Blocks and spread them down one block.

This layer should form a Diamond made with Spruce Leaf Blocks and Colored Blocks, forming the tree.

How to make a Christmas tree in Minecraft? - Top

At the top of the spruce column, you will have to place a spruce leaf block > then the obsidian > on top of the obsidian place a final crystal as an ornament for the Christmas tree.

After placing the crystal remove with the obsidian carefully without touching the end crystal or it will explode and destroy the tree. After breaking the obsidian, you will need to place a block of fir leaves where the obsidian was and you are done.
